You will need to be practical, task orientated and commercially astute. You will also need to have a city law firm background and previous in-house experience, or be able demonstrate an excellent grasp of how to apply the law in business.

the confidence to advise and work alongside management teams
excellent business judgement and negotiating skills
the ability to build close relationships with clients
a real desire to work in and shape a growing law company
