Richard Mullett,
Founder and Managing Director
Richard founded The Legal Partners in 2003 after selling
Neos
Networks, where he was Legal Director, to Scottish & Southern Energy
PLC.
His business and in house experience extends across telecoms, mobile phone and film production networks:
Richard co-ran Neos Networks, which was ranked as one of the
fastest growing technology companies in the national press. He
raised over £50m of debt and VC equity finance for the company prior
to its sale.
At O2 Richard
lead the £160m take over of Martin Dawes in which Vodafone owned a
20% stake.
He also lead the team advising on all sports, sponsorship and entertainment
issues: negotiating O2’s sponsorship of England's Rugby team, Middlesborough FC, Capital Radio flying eye,
and the UK band All Saints.
Richard qualified in 1994 and spent 6 years advising blue chip
clients with Slaughter and May.
He enjoys
advising clients on all company,
commercial and employment
issues and building the talented team of lawyers with first hand
business experience at The Legal Partners.
