Megan joined The Legal Partners in 2022 as a Trainee Solicitor, having graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce degree and a first class LLB in Law from the University of Pretoria. Megan is currently studying for the UK Solicitors Qualification Exam.
Working alongside Richard Mullett and other members of the team, Megan advises clients on business law, in particular:
- business sales and acquisitions
- drafting business purchase and share purchase agreements
- reviewing heads of terms
- conducting due diligence across the business and employment elements of such transactions.
Megan also works closely with HR clients and business owners:
- defending Employment Tribunal claims
- advising on settlement agreements
- reviewing and drafting employment contracts for junior and senior executives
- advising on restrictive covenants
- and creating Company Handbooks.
As a graduate in business as well as law, Megan enjoys the opportunity her role at The Legal Partners affords of working closely with business clients and individuals, advising across employment and business law matters.
