Introducing Megan Bowen

Megan joined The Legal Partners in 2022  as a Trainee Solicitor and qualified with the firm as a Solicitor in 2025, after completing the UK Solicitors Qualification Exams. Megan advises across Business Law, Employment Law and Commercial Litigation, delivering The Legal Partners' practical, collaborative approach to supporting businesses.  She regularly advises SMEs, business owners and clients on the following:



  • negotiating business sales and acquisitions

  • reviewing Heads of Terms

  • conducting due diligence across the business and employment elements of corporate transactions

  • drafting business purchase and share purchase agreements

  • drafting shareholders agreements


Megan also advises HR clients, employers and senior employees on:



  • Employment Tribunal claims

  • settlement agreements

  • negotiating director and senior executive exits

  • drafting and reviewing employment contracts for employees

  • advising on Restrictive Covenants

  • employee handbooks and workplace policies

  • disciplinary and grievance procedures

  • redundancies


Megan graduated from the University of Pretoria in South Africa with a Bachelor of Commerce degree and a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) (with distinction).  As a graduate in both business and law, Megan particularly enjoys the breadth of her role at The Legal Partners, working closely with business clients and individuals, advising across employment and business law matters. She enjoys delivering clear and pragmatic advice tailored to each client's objectives.

Away from the office, Megan is a keen sportswoman and photographer. She enjoys hockey, spending time in nature, keeping fit and reading.
