We are looking for a Lawyer to join the team : part time, flexible days per week.

The Legal Partners is a successful highly respected law firm located in Teddington and Richmond, London. We have an opportunity for a part time Lawyer to join our fast-paced, close knit, highly collaborative team based in Teddington.

We specialise in HR Law, Business law, Litigation and Dispute Resolution, advising clients of all sizes, from local owner managed businesses, SMEs, to UK and International companies.
The role will involve working alongside Richard Mullett, Founder, Director and Solicitor, in a positive and dynamic working environment.

This is a fully qualified PQE role but you skills, experience attitude and commerciality are more important to us than number of years qualification, and training is provided.

Part-time / Flexible hours and hybrid working arrangements are available.
Term-time working is also possible.

Salary and package: commensurate with experience.

What we are seeking:

The part time role would suit a locally based Lawyer looking to develop their legal career whilst working close to home or school, and who is excited by the prospect of a highly varied legal day, with lots of direct client contact, working closely with high quality, interesting business clients.

The Legal Partners think as lawyers but in commercial terms; our experienced team have all worked in business as in-house Counsel or Legal Directors. To enjoy and thrive in the role, you will be commercially minded and excited by the opportunity to advise on:

  • HR Law – employment contracts, settlement agreements and Employment Tribunal Claims working with barristers, providing training seminars to our HR Director & Business clients
  • Business Law – buying and selling businesses, raising finance, negotiating commercial contracts and business property leases and data protection
  • Litigation – resolving commercial disputes and conducting Court litigation with barristers and settling claims in the County Court

You will enjoy negotiating successfully for our clients, proposing solutions to commercial issues and using your excellent legal drafting and analysis skills. You will have excellent IT skills and be familiar with Microsoft email, Word and Excel systems.

We work closely as a team and you will get full support. The role could equally suit you if you are a legally qualified person returning to work as family childcare commitments permit or currently practicing but looking to work in a more flexible, rewarding way.
We use the Thomson Reuters Practical Law for Companies (PLC) and HighQ systems.
